Pre-Orientation Optional Programs

Introduction

Each year Tufts offers several innovative, optional pre-orientation opportunities to incoming students. In recent years, over half of the incoming class has participated in our pre-orientation programs.  Incoming student arrive to campus early and join their classmates in small groups to participate in one of these four programs.  The programs are your opportunity to get involved on campus early, meet upperclass leaders and mentors, gain valuable leadership skills, and meet other students with similar interests before Orientation officially begins.  Above all, students look back at their participation in FIT, FOCUS, IO, and TWO as some of their fondest memories.

There is a cost associated with each program.  Once accepted you will need to pay to secure your spot. Financial aid assistance is available for Pre-Orientation program fees.  Aid amounts will be determined by a student’s University financial aid status, however Pre-Orientation assistance will not affect a student’s University financial aid package.

For more information on the programs available, please refer to the links to the individual program websites below  or download the 2013 Pre-Orientation Brochure here.
