CAFE

CAFE Pre-Orientation is a fun and engaging five-day interfaith program based around dialogue, student experiences, and faith-based service.

The program is designed for a small group of 10-20 students from different faith backgrounds or world views. It is be run by the students of CAFE (Conversation, Action, Faith and Education), the Tufts student interfaith initiative, and sponsored by the Office of University Chaplain.

At Tufts, we strive to dig deeper than simple tolerance, aiming for a better understanding of each other's views in hopes that we can help bridge the gap created among different faiths and cultures in today's society. During this program, students will be given ample opportunity to voice their opinions on life's big questions, and have a fun time getting to know each other and their fantastic student leaders.

Students will stay in on-campus housing and get to eat in the dining hall for dinner each night; breakfast and lunch will be provided as well. Activities, service and dialogs will happen both on campus and in the Boston area, so students will get comfortable with Tufts, Boston and Davis Square before the school year begins. Come ready to have fun and share your experience and opinions!
